Some people prefer hobbies that require technology，while some others prefer do not require technology. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
As a result of constant development of technology, people have conflicting views about which type of leisure activities they are interested in. On the one hand, many people enjoy activities with up-to-date technology. On the other hand, there are those who are still in favour of traditional bobbies.
Advocates of hi-tech hobbies may cite new experience as a significant factor. When I play a computer game, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, I can experience the demanding environment our ancestors once had, discover and colonize new continents, develop new technologies and invade countries nearby, helping me gain insight into the ideas that politicians, who hold responsibilities of governing a country, usually have.
Another reason that people like hi-tech hobbies because they are typically more convenient and more affordable than the traditional ones. For example, people can download videos and electronic books to their tablets, which means that they can watch and read them whenever or wherever they want, at very low prices, or even free.
Still, there are also a few reasons that people enjoy old-school leisure activities. On the social side, hanging out in a traditional Irish pub, having a pint of Guinness, and shooting breeze with friends can help us develop a social network of contact and relieve some stress. In that same vein, making physical exercise as a regular part of our daily routine, rather than playing computer games or watching television after work, can help us avoid many chronic diseases and improve our health conditions. Finally, many people who are fascinated by their own culture also like traditional hobbies, as our language, culture, and history are inextricably bound up into the interesting things we play.
In my opinion, many people like both modern and old-fashion hobbies, because both of them can improve our living standards and have an important role to play in our daily life.
